We are committed to offering the widest range of eco-friendly wallcovering options in the industry, with at least 50% of our SKUs sampled on a PVC-free substrate.
Our green leaf icon indicates PVC-free substrates. Designers can specify any pattern on one of these substrates, with a 300 SF minimum order.
Sampling sustainably is our responsibility.
Prioritizing the environmental impacts of large sample shipments within the A&D community is central to AiNO’s mission, which is why we partnered with Material Bank, where every sample order ships 100% carbon-neutral.

The architecture and design industry plays an important role in shaping our world and must address its enormous environmental impact—it accounts for about 40% of global carbon emissions. Through Material Bank, we minimize shipping and packaging waste by using fewer packages and ensuring that all our orders are 100% carbon neutral, supporting AiNO’s mission to sample sustainably.

Offsetting carbon emissions from sample shipments aligns with AiNO's environmental responsibility and its continued efforts to sample sustainably. Material Bank’s multi-pronged approach helps us achieve that with the following strategies:
Material Bank has drastically reduced sample shipments, including excessive packaging waste, by aggregating samples from multiple brands into one box.
They track 100% of outbound shipping carbon emissions and work with offset partners like 3Degrees, ACT Commodities, and ClearLoop to purchase equivalent metric tons of verified and retired carbon credits from carbon projects worldwide.
Material Bank also began purchasing Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) in 2021 to match electricity use at its facility and corporate office.
Lastly, Material Bank's sample reclamation program allows unneeded samples to be reused and recycled instead of ending up in landfills.
